Painting exhibition
The exhibition shows a representative cross-section of the art collection of Wismut GmbH, which consists of 534 works of painting, 256 drawings and watercolors, 2923 graphics and around 35 sculptures. In addition to works by Prof. Fritz Eisel, Ernst Hecker and Ms. Müller-Jontschewa, works by amateur artists are also on display.
The variety ranges from strongly ideological works to critical artworks. The works of art can be classified as socialist realism.
Photo exhibition
In addition to the photo exhibition, personal items from miners, such as protective work suits, carbide lamps, etc. are on display. Brigade diaries, trophies, certificates, a collection of work tools and models of modern mining technology complete the exhibition.
